O carte care ar fi putut fi interesanta daca nu ar fi fost scrisa cu un scop precis: demontarea eticii si moralei Bibliei in favoarea unui laicism bazat pe "adevar si morala". Un sofism nici macar bine legat care sa dea o vaga impresie de sanse egale credinciosului de orice religie in fata laicului ateu, homofil, cu pretentii ca moralitatea lui e cea naturala. Ne scuzati d-le Harari ca inca mai respiram. Cel putin e parerea mea si nu am pretentia ca e universal valabila.

Hogy a 2021-es esztendőben mekkora kereslet mutatkozott a félvezetőkre a globális chiphiány közepette, azt jól jelzi, hogy az iparág soha nem termelt még annyi analóg és logikai áramkört, mint tavaly - hasonlóképpen rekord szintre nőtt a gyártók árbevétele is.

Teljesítményének mindkét sarokszámát tekintve rekordot döntött 2021-ben a globális félvezetőipar, melynek termékeire a pandémia hatására még a 2020-asnál is lényegesen nagyobb kereslet mutatkozott. A legnagyobb gyártókat összefogó Félvezetőipari Szövetség (angolul Semiconductor Industry Association, azaz SIA) legfrissebb jelentése szerint tavaly a gyártási volumenek maximumra járatásával 1,15 ezer milliárd félvezetőt szállítottak le a gyártók, csaknem 556 milliárd dollár értékben.

Utóbbi a 2020-as forgalomhoz képest több mint 26%-os növekedést feltételez, ami kiugróan jó eredménynek számít a megelőző esztendő 6,8%-os forgalombővüléséhez képest - emeli ki a szövetség. Eljött az a pillanat, amikor magunkról adunk hírt nektek, és ráadásul sokunknak ez lesz az utolsó is, amit a Transindex felületére írunk. Ma reggel, huszonhárom évnyi működés után felállt a Transindex teljes szerkesztő csapata.Azért, mert úgy érezzük, a munkánk ezen az intézményen belül már teljességgel ellehetetlenült, és tovább már nem tudjuk a legjobb szakmai tudásunk szerint ellátni azt a feladatot, ami a mindenkori szabad sajtó feladata lenne. Az indulás óta sokszor változott a csapat és sok mindenben változott a Transindex is, de abban biztosan nem, hogy most is ugyanazon értékek mellett tartjuk fontosnak kiállni, mint egykor, és hogy most sem vagyunk hajlandóak semmilyen politikai erő elvárásai szerint végezni az újságírói munkánkat. Mindannyian észleljük, hogy az elmúlt időszakban egyre inkább beszűkültek az erdélyi magyar szólásszabadság és nyilvánosság terei. Közel két éve a fennmaradásunkért küzdünk egy olyan politikailag meghatározott környezetben, amelyben a sajtó már csak két út közül választhat: vagy kapitulál és gyakorlatilag szócsőként működik tovább különféle politikai érdekek elvárásai szerint, vagy pedig megpróbálja ellátni a feladatát, viszont ez esetben azt kockáztatja, hogy ellehetetlenítik. Mi az utóbbi utat választottuk, és most csomagolunk, mert más választásunk nem maradt. A Transindex.ro mától már nem lesz az „a napos oldal”, amit jelmondatunk hirdetett, és - mivel a többségi tulajdonos az eladására készül - hogy mi lesz a további sorsa, az számunkra is ismeretlen. A jelenlegi kontextusban pedig már nem látjuk biztosítva az újságírói függetlenségünket. Az biztos, hogy addig, amíg mi transindexesek voltunk, ez volt az egyedüli nagy olvasottságú romániai magyar médiafelület, amely a szerkesztőség saját döntései, és nem valamilyen politikai pártagenda szerint készült. Nem ért minket váratlanul, de mégis nehéz most felfognunk, hogy ami több évtizedig a Transindex volt, mostantól már megszűnik létezni. Amikor három hónappal ezelőtt nektek is elmondtuk, hogy veszélyben a működésünk, nagyon sokan kiálltatok mellettünk, számolva azzal, hogy ennek akár ára is lehet. Sokszor megköszöntük már nektek, de nem elégszer: a Transindex felületén most még egyszer, utoljára megköszönjük azoknak, akik mindvégig mellettünk álltak, olvastak és támogattak minket, drukkoltak nekünk! Köszönjük! Mert valóban sokan voltatok, akik támogatásaitokkal időt vásároltatok nekünk arra, hogy még valameddig működni tudjunk, és hogy tovább tervezgessük a jövőnket. Az elmúlt sok-sok évből pont ezekre a nektek köszönhető újabb pár hónapra fogunk a legélénkebben emlékezni.

Az IBM-nél készült el az első 2 nanométeres áramkör.Az IBM jelentette be az iparág első 2 nanométeres áramkörét. A Nagy Kék állítja, sikerült minden eddiginél nagyobb tranzisztorsűrűséget produkálni, habár tesztáramkörökről lévén szó, a 2 nanométeres chipek tömeggyártása még évekre lehet.Az IBM fejlesztése az egyre szélesebb körbe alkalmazott EUV-s, vagyis az extrém ultraibolya fényt használó levilágítási mód mellett új tranzisztorokat is alkalmaz. A fejlesztőlabor a konkurensekhez hasonlóan GAA-ra (Gate-All-Around), vagy más néven nanohuzal/nanolap-tranzisztorra építi 2 nanométeres eljárását, amely a FinFET-nél valamelyest kedvezőbb elektromos tulajdonságokkal rendelkezik, miközben számottevően javítja a skálázhatóságot.Érdekes adalék, hogy az IBM már jó ideje kizárólag a fejlesztési munkálatokhoz nélkülözhetetlen tesztchipek gyártását végzi. A Nagy Kék még 2014-ben adta el üzemét a GlobalFoundriesnek, vagyis tömeggyártással már lassan hét éve nem foglalkozik. A kutatási és fejlesztési központ azonban megmaradt, a bejelentés alapján pedig komoly munka folyik az Albany városának területén húzódó laborban. Az IBM többek között a Samsunggal, illetve újabban már az Intellel is közösen dolgozik a két gyártó jövőbeni eljárásain, így a most bejelentett fejlesztés jó eséllyel visszaköszön majd a két nagy szereplő egyes jövőbeni termékeiben.
