A Quiet Place Part II is a 2020 American post-apocalyptic horror film and the sequel to 2018's A Quiet Place, following the family from the first film as they continue to navigate and survive in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by blind aliens with an acute sense of hearing. The film was written, produced and directed by John Krasinski for Paramount Pictures. Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe reprise their roles from the first film, while Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou join the cast; Krasinski returns from the first film in a new flashback sequence.

Don't Look Up is a 2021 American apocalyptic black comedy film written, produced, and directed by Adam McKay, and starring an ensemble cast consisting of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Rob Morgan, Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Timothée Chalamet, Ron Perlman, Ariana Grande, Scott Mescudi, Cate Blanchett, and Meryl Streep. It tells the story of two astronomers attempting to warn humanity about an approaching comet that will destroy human civilization. The impact event is an allegory for climate change, and the film is a satire of government, political, celebrity, and media indifference to the climate crisis.[6][7]

A Very British Scandal is a 2021 BBC historical drama television miniseries, starring Claire Foy as Margaret Campbell, Duchess of Argyll.[2] The same production company, Blueprint, previously made A Very English Scandal (2018), about the Thorpe affair.[3]The series dramatises the 1963 Argyll v Argyll case, the scandalous divorce of Margaret Campbell and Ian Campbell, 11th Duke of Argyll, and the media frenzy surrounding it. Written by Sarah Phelps, it premiered on BBC One on 26 December 2021.[4][5][6] [7]


The Ice Road is a 2021 American action thriller film[5] written and directed by Jonathan Hensleigh. The film stars Liam Neeson[6] and Laurence Fishburne, with Benjamin Walker, Amber Midthunder, Marcus Thomas, Holt McCallany, Martin Sensmeier, Matt McCoy, and Matt Salinger in supporting roles. It marks Hensleigh's first film since 2011's Kill the Irishman. It follows a team of truck drivers on a dangerous mission over frozen lakes and winter roads to deliver a crucial component to save workers trapped in a collapsed diamond mine.[5] The film was digitally released by Netflix in the United States and Canada, and by Amazon Prime Video in the United Kingdom on June 25, 2021. The film received mixed reviews from critics.
